Spider-Man 3 is currently Marvel’s most awaited film. Marvel is bringing Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland together in the upcoming film. Now, it has been confirmed Netflix Daredevil series star “Charlie Cox” is joining the cast too. Charlie Cox portrayed the role of Matt Murdock in the series. However, it was canceled after the third season by Netflix. Marvel is finally introducing Multi-verse in the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
Netflix’s Marvel Daredevil series was first released back in 2015 and became a hit after the release. It’s based on Marvel’s comic book hero Daredevil, Matt Murdock, who got blinded but got a super-power in exchange. He is a lawyer by day and fights criminals at night as a vigilante. Being blinded heightened his other senses such as his hearing. He became the devil of Hell’s kitchen. Netflix’s Marvel Daredevil Show was canceled back in 2018. Even though the show had a good rating and response from the critics, the show got canceled.
Charlie Cox Joins Spider-Man 3
Charlie Cox joining Spider-Man 3 rumors surfaced back in May. However, Charlie denied the rumors saying “I hadn’t heard those rumors, but it’s certainly not with my Daredevil. I’m not involved in it.” Though he denied the rumors, he said in the podcast “But I love the idea of Jessica and Matt showing up in the background or Matt as a lawyer advising Peter Parker. That’d be really, really cool.“
#SaveDaredevil was trending on Twitter when Marvel got the rights back from Netflix. Fans wanted Daredevil to air on Disney+ but Marvel had something else planned, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is finally going to return. Murphy’s Multiverse confirmed that Matt Murdock will appear in the Marvel Spider-Man 3.
The deal was made months before the clause ended. https://t.co/NDetDSjeUq
