It’s been two years since the season 2 finale aired and the fans of the series are anxiously waiting for the third season. The fans expected to get the series’ third season to be on their screens in 2024. But, Euphoria Season 3 will not be released before late 2025.

What is the new update on Euphoria Season 3?
HBO Max dropped a trailer for What’s in the Store for 2024 and in the end, we got a little sneak peek of “Zendaya” under “Coming to 2025”. This new information has given fans of the series a hope. We will discuss what else is going to happen in the most anticipated season 3 of Euphoria.
Euphoria Season 3 Release Date
The SAG-AFTRA strike this year delayed many projects including euphoria. Also, Euphoria’s creator Sam Levinson was busy with another Max’s project “The Idol” which proved to be a complete disaster. HBO drama chief Francesca Orsi revealed in May 2023 why Euphoria season 3 is going to be released in 2025;
“Euphoria is one of those that we had begun writing in tandem with post-production on The Idol but at this point, we don’t have countless scripts. We can’t start shooting, so the delivery of that show – ideally in 2025 – will be determined on when we can pick back up with Sam, who at this point is all pencils down and just finishing posts on The Idol.”
HBO has not officially announced the release date for season 3.
What will happen in season 3?
A lot happened in season 2. Rue’s character was seen revealing that she managed to stay clean for the rest of the school year, indicating that she must have fallen back to her drug problem in the future. Also, the drama between Cassie and Maddy was the highlight of season 2.
Will the two best friends fix things between each other? Maddy was also seen warning Cassie about Nate’s toxic behavior.
Nate’s dad Cal was sent to prison after Nate successfully told the police about his sexual predator dad. The show also has to address Laurie and the 10k worth of drugs Rue still owes her. Will she come after Rue?
But, the major cliffhanger of season 2 and the most important question, if Angel is alive? Now that the actor who played Fez in the series has passed away, how will the writers give closure to Fez’s character?
Conclusion
There are a lot of questions that need to be addressed in the third season of Euphoria. But, it seems like fans will have to wait till 2025 for any Euphoria-related content.
