JJK or Jujutsu Kaisen is an ongoing manga by Gege Akutami. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 243 was released on Sunday and we saw the demise of our favorite villain, Kenjaku the cursed spirit.

What To Expect From JJK 244
In JJK Chapter 238, we caught a glimpse of Yuji Itadori’s arm, hinting at the source of his newfound abilities. Yuji Itadori finally stepped into the spotlight and was ready to fight Sukuna. However, Takaba again stole the spotlight thus sidelining our Yuji, the main protagonist of the anime. Now the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku has been concluded. We may see Yuji vs Sukuna in JJK 244. This can only happen, once we see proper demise of Kenjaku since he can change bodies and find a new host.
Is Kenjaku Really Dead?
He took over the body of Geto, before that he possessed many others such as Yuji’s mom.
As Kenjaku was in the body of Geto, the cursed spirit is still alive. Meanwhile, the body is officially dead. He cannot use the body of Geto anymore. He has to choose a new host.
At the end of the chapter, Kenjaku said, my will be inherited. This means Kenjaku is going to switch bodies but with Yuta around that will be nearly impossible so he has to slip pass Yuta to switch bodies.
Kenjaku is clever one, he started the culling games and was behind the whole Shibuya incident and he even managed to seal off Gojo. There is a high chance he will manage to escape.
Will We See Yuji vs Sukuna in JJK 244?
Yuji’s arm, depicted in the color spread, bears a striking resemblance to Sukuna’s. In Chapter 238, we see Yuji stealing the spotlight and joining the fight. He bites his arm, showcasing that the new powers are linked to his arm.
It looks similar to Sukuna. However, the fin-like things on his arm are unique. Yuji now has claws and his arm is red. However, the new powers have not yet been revealed in the manga. There are only speculations by fans.
Yuji has been sidelined for most of the culling games Arc. He finally shows up after Gojo was killed by Sukuna.
Gojo has foretold that Yuji’s body will eventually adapt to Sukuna’s techniques, but until now, we have witnessed only glimpses of this transformation.
We will soon see Yuji vs Sukuna battle. However, Yuji’s powers are still a mystery. It could be a cursed weapon, cursed ability, or Sukuna dormant powers showing up in his body.
