Jujutsu Kaisen fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Season 3. However, official confirmation for the release date is yet to be announced. JJK Season 2 is currently ongoing and on upcoming Thursday the final episode of the second season will be released which will conclude the Shibuya Arc.

An unofficial account of JJK on Twitter circulated the rumor that the upcoming season will air in 2025. However, MAPPA studios denied the rumors. Predictions point to a potential release window between 2025 and 2027 based on past season patterns and industry trends. Recently, MAPPA studios faced a huge backlash as their employees came forward on Twitter because of the unhealthy work environment and huge workload.
They took it to twitter that they don’t get breaks and they don’t have any work life balance because of MAPPA studios. However, MAPPA didn’t comment on this and the episodes kept airing on time.
JJK Season 3 Plot
JJK Season 2 started with the backstory of Gojo and concluded with Shibuya Arc. Kenjaku is currently fighting the remaining Jujutsu Sorcerers in the Shibuya. Itadori finally managed to avenge Nanami and Nobara. Many fan favorite characters died in Shibuya Arc.
JJK Season 3 will be the start of Culling Games Arc. Yuta will also make an appearence in the upcoming season and many other strong sorcerers will join the fight.
Is Season 3 going to be the Final Season?
Manga creator Gege confirmed that the manga series is going to end soon. However, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is not going to be the last season as there are many manga chapters remaining to be animated. The manga is currently at chapter 246. The anime series is atleast 100 chapters behind so the series cannot end with Season 3.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 had 24 episodes and season 2 episode 23 will the last episode of the ongoing season. From this we can expect atleast 23 episodes in JJK Season 3. However, there is official confirmation yet.
