Motion Sickness in fighting games like MK1 is quite rare. But, due to the recent cutscene and 30FPS lock issue, players were found to have Motion Sickness. The minute stutters and game lagging in the cutscenes cause the players to have it. But don’t worry, we are here to fix Motion Sickness While Playing Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1).
About MK1 – AKA Mortal Kombat 1
After the release of Mortal Kombat 11 (MK11), the gurus at NetherRealm Studios, and Warner Bros (WB), went ahead and renamed their next game in the franchise Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1). At this point, everyone either started from the beginning or went ahead and missed a digit. Why not NetherRealm?
Following the previous franchise base and style, Mortal Kombat 1, is referred to as a fresh start, but with the same set of rules. That same brutal fatality mechanism, on top of those saught-after characters, but with ever-flourishing graphics, and story-line.
Everything is perfect here in the franchise. The game doesn’t force you to have various microtransactions to unlock your favorite fighter, nor get those crisp cosmetics. You’re bound to love this one too here.
All in all, it’s a treat for players who are looking for the same Mortal Kombat Universe, but with a 2023 touch.
Motion Sickness while playing Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1)
We already covered as to why you have Motion Sickness in the game. Due to the jittering, sutters, and lags in the game’s cutscenes, you will experience them. Not only that, there is going to be a headache afterward.
To fix that, you need to simply put the game in the Windowed Mode. It will stop the shutters, ultimately fixing the motion sickness issue as well. In case you don’t want to do that, you can just stay far away from the screen, or don’t look at it up close.
The 30FPS Lock to everything except the fight is a mess from the Netherrealm Studios. Make sure you are careful at times because of the Motion Sickness problem, otherwise, the day is going to get ruined.
