Stranger Things is all set to come back to our screens with a final season. Season 5 of the show along with the other Netflix projects was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike in Hollywood. Fans of the show were worried about the future of the show as they wanted to see the final season as soon as possible.

What is the opening scene of Stranger Things?
The official X of Stranger Writes posted the first line of the picture which stated “The sound of COLD WIND. GROANING TREES. And… A CHILD’S VOICE. Singing a familiar song:”. The revelation was enough for the fans to post their theories.
One of the fans on Reddit stated that it might be a flashback to season one where Will was seen singing Should I Stay or Should I Go?
Another fan suggested it might be a reference to season one’s episode 7 where before being attacked by demogorgans, Eleven found Will in Castle Byers singing by himself.
Fans believe that the final season will be centered toward Will as the fourth season was based on El’s flashbacks of the Hawkins Laboratory.
We got a few glimpses of Will Byers in the upside-down. Stranger Things Season 5 will become more thrilling if we get to see more of Will while he was trapped in the upside-down.
However, It is hard to say what will happen in season 5 just by the first line of the script. A child’s voice singing a familiar song can be anything. The first episode of season 5 is called “The Crawl”.
Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date
There is no news about the release date of season 5 yet. However, due to the delays because of the strike, the Stranger Things season is expected to be released in 2025.
We will be seeing a time jump and CGI will be used to show the younger versions of the characters as the actors have grown up a lot since the first season of the show. According to Forbes, Stranger Things will be resuming production from next week.
