One of Us is Lying Season 3 is expected to pick up where the show left off. The first season ended on a cliffhanger. However, the second season ended on a high note, with an action-packed climax. It also introduced a new series regular to the show.
This character is Fiona (Doralynn Mui), an impulsive psychopath who was thrown into prison after she tried to kill the Murder Club. She was also the one who gave Cole a major clue about Jake’s past.
It was also revealed that Bronwyn (Marilynly Tejada), the main character in the first season, is the prime suspect in the murder case. However, it’s not known whether Bronwyn is actually dangerous or not. She was picked up by police after the murder occurred.
It could have been a coincidence, however. Interestingly, her younger sister Maeve (Melissa Collazo) also took Simon’s laptop and the police found recordings of Simon’s Xbox games in his locker.
If the show returns for a third season, it’s likely to dig deeper into Jake’s past. Murder Club managed to frame Fiona for the murder of Jake. However, she revealed the truth to Cole, Jake’s brother. Fiona tells him about the video. However, later Fiona is poisoned and died. After a time jump, we saw another murder, and Bronwyn’s necklace is shown at the end of the season.
I definitely think that we’d have another new mystery and introduce some more evil elements at Bayview. What deeper evil is lurking underneath the surface in Bayview is something that I’m really excited to explore in season three.
