A proper Rick and Morty movie is something that we all deserve and has been in the debate for over a decade. Ever since the release of the 2013 show Rick and Morty, viewers have been eagerly waiting for a movie, related to an episode, character life, or something completely different.
Now, it has been a decade since then, and we might be onto something proper. The 2021 Rick and Morty Live-Action Movie didn’t do so well, because it was a live-action, and we already know those are usually a flop, except for One Piece Live Action which blew everything off the shelves.

The original co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, who also played the voice actor, has left the series, and after seven seasons, it will give a twist to the story. We might be able to see a refresh, or something new entirely in the series.
So, this is the perfect time for a well-developed and produced Rick and Morty Movie. The idea has been traveling around, even when Roiland and Harmon were together, working on the series.
Recently, in late September, we got an update from Dan Harmon himself about the creation of a possible movie, and its ideas. Harmon, himself, has stated that “there are talks between the creators and studios to make a movie”. Hence, we are here discussing a possible Rick and Morty 2 Movie coming soon.

As strange as it might sound, the Movie might just be a double episode compiled in one. Much like a super episode of Rick and Morty that has a plot or a twist around a younger version of Rick Sanchez, or an Evil Morty Smith.
Or, it could be a completely animated movie where we get to witness a new enemy at hand, whom Rick and Morty try to finish off. We are not sure, but the Rick and Morty 2 is going to be a proper movie.

The expected Rick and Morty 2 Movie Release Date is 2027 or 2028, depending on the trajectory of the series. The production of the movie hasn’t started, and there are minute chances of it being in production soon.
But, that can take a completely different turn altogether, as the production might not even start and we might even get a second coming of the Rick and Morty Movie.

As seen with other similar animated series like Simpsons, Futurama, and South Part, all of them had the same voice actors that were present in the series. It is done to preserve the class of the show and the hype as well.
