The School For Good and Evil is getting a Netflix adaption. It is based on the book by the same name. The book is written by Soman Chainani. It was a big hit and it was New York Time’s best selling book as well. School for sold 2.5 million copies all around the world. The book is also translated into 30 languages. However, according to Soman, it is an honor for her. Paul Feig is going to direct the film. David Magee and Laura Solon are going to write the screenplay for the upcoming film. David Magee is known for writing the screenplay for the Life of the PI. However, it is not known yet if the film is going to follow the footsteps of the books or it will be changed a little.
Plot
The book is based on the story of Sophie and Agatha. The girls will go to The School For Good and Evil to become superheroes and villains But, things will change when Agatha will get accepted into the school of good and Sophia will get accepted into the school of Evil. Best friends Sophie and Agatha are about to discover where fairytale legacies go to school: the School for Good and Evil, where ordinary boys and girls are trained to be fairy tale heroes and villains. With her princess ambitions, Sophie knows she’ll be picked for the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her grim aesthetic and wicked cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil. Yet soon the girls find their fortunes reversed: Sophie is dropped into the School for Evil, Agatha into the School for Good. But what if the mistake is the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are? Their friendship will be put to the test in this thrilling and comedic story where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one.

She is excited about the upcoming film and she said this in a interview that she is excited about Paul Feig directing the movie;

The School For Good and Evil Release Date
There is no release date yet. It will take some time. But, due to the pandemic, a lot of projects got canceled and their filming stopped. However, it is not known yet when will they release the movie. But, we might get the movie at the end of 2021. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
