XDefiant Not Downloading: Why and How to Fix It?

XDefiant is Ubisoft’s take on the FPS Genre, taking on the competitive FPS side by side with Call of Duty and Warzone. But, the game is actually pretty great, having a mix of new FPS mechanics, and that butter-smooth gameplay. Before the official launch on October 1st, 2023, Ubisoft released a Public Test on 28th September, 2023. But to no one’s surprise, Xdefiant is not downloading. Why is XDefiant not Downloading?

The reason for you not being able to download XDefiant is all the traffic on the servers trying to download the game at the same time. The servers struggle to pull this off on their own.

The save is the case with pre-load, where players can’t download XDefiant on their system. Due to the server load, this might be the case.

How to Fix XDefiant Not Downloading?

To fix the issue, you will probably have to restart your launcher and wait for a while. When the server load lowers, you will be able to Download XDefiant.

This is the best you can do, but while you are at it, we recommend you lower the load on your internet. Make sure there is no high ping or latency issue.

Also, turn off your router and turn it back ON after 30 seconds to clear the Internet Cache. Use an Ethernet Cable to get a priority on the queue.
