Ginny and Georgia Season 3 – Will Simone Legally represent Georgia?

Netflix has disappointed Ginny and Georgia’s fans eagerly awaiting season 3. Season 2 of the show which premiered in January 2023, broke many Netflix records, surpassing 665 million hours of watch time on Netflix. According to Deadline, Ginny and Georgia season 3 will not be released in 2024 either.

Ginny and Georgia is renewed for seasons 3 and 4, but the filming was delayed to due the SAG-AFTRA strike which delayed many anticipated Netflix projects. In mid-December 2023, creator Sarah Lambert shared on social media she was “[really] excited for Season 3,” but she never really revealed the actual release date for Season 3.

Season 3 will be released in early 2025. Ginny and Georgia show was also absent from Netflix’s video showcasing the upcoming shows in 2024, it has been confirmed that Season 3 will be delayed till 2025. But, the delay still has not stopped fans from talking about what might happen in the upcoming seasons.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger as Georgia was arrested for the murder of Cynthia Fuller’s husband. Things finally started to seem better between Ginny and her mother in season 2, but her arrest will make things complicated for the mother-daughter duo. The actors will look older if filming for season 3 takes more time, so there might be a time jump.

Also, now that Mayor Paul Randolph is officially married, he will do anything to protect Georgia from going to jail even though her arrest will affect his political career. Paul will try to get the best legal representation for his wife.

However, some fans believe that Ginny’s father’s girlfriend Simone can also legally represent Georgia. Simone is strong and she likes Zion too, she might decide to represent Georgia to get close to Zion and his daughter Ginny.

Final Words

Whatever happens in season 3, fans are excited to see if Georgia will get out of this mess. What will happen if she is sentenced? All of these daunting questions will be answered in 2025.
