Why Sex education is ending?

Sex education’s official Instagram shared a heartfelt message from Lauria Nunn for the fans last year. The Goodbye post gave fans a hint as to why the writers decided to end the show. The post read;

“This was not an easy decision to make, but as the themes and stories of the new season crystallized, it became clear that this was the right time to graduate.”

She continued:

“We are incredibly proud of Sex Education and feel indebted to our brilliant writers, cast, and crew who put so much heart into making every episode. They have worked tirelessly to bring you this final season, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”

It was the right decision to end the journey of Moordale students. Fans wanted to see the future of Otis’s unofficial sex clinic and the future moves of the other characters. But it seems like a lot of the actors have already moved on to new and exciting projects. Lily and Ola were not present in the final season.

Ncuti Gatwa who played Eric on the show shared his own thoughts about the final season;

“I feel like we’ve outgrown it and we’ve given everything we can to it.”

It was a perfect decision to say goodbye to the show.
